A. It is not for a Baha'i to defend or attack the Word of God. We study it, whether we find it in the 66 books of the Protestant Christian Bible, the Apocrypha, the Quran, the Buddist or Hindu Scriptures, or elsewhere. We reach our own conclusions, but we do not attempt to explain away apparent inconsistencies for others. Generally, if errors appear to exist, they are the result of man's faulty interpretation, man's ignorance, or man's arrogance, not because the Word of God is in error. For the current age, the Baha'i Writings are the only Word of God which has come to us in It's original form, translated only once into hundreds of native languages from the original manuscripts that are still kept in the Baha'i archives on Mt. Carmel in Israel.
